The Neighborhood Preservation Committee meets on the first Wednesday of each month, 7:30 p.m. at the Association office. Please call the office to be put on the agenda. A week prior to the meeting, submit your request.

PLAN TO:
1. Review the LHA's Tree Removal Policy in the tree removal request form.
2. Contact the City of Oakland to obtain a permit to remove the tree.
3. Complete the enclosed LHA form.
4. It is helpful if you submit a photograph of the tree with your application.
5. Inform your neighbors of your intention to remove a tree and solicit their comments in writing for the committee.
6. Enclose with your application a $100.00 refundable planting fee.
7. $100.00 refunded if tree is planted within 18 months of date of application. If tree is not replaced, $100.00 will be applied to planting a tree in our neighborhood.
